To provide important data to local and prospective businesses, the Chamber Economic Development team develops and maintains demographic, business, workforce and development publications for Waco MSA and the 18 cities within its jurisdiction.
The Chamber economic development team assists businesses in locating available buildings and sites and provides a list of properties in our property search tool. Our team also leads the asset development and management of the Waco Industrial Foundation, an 1,800-acre portfolio at the Texas Central Park and Waco International Aviation Park at Texas State Technical College Airport.
Within Greater Waco, five notable target industries, Advanced Manufacturing, Aerospace and Defense, Healthcare, Professional and Financial Services, and Supply Chain Management, have found sustained success and helped build a stronger economy.

Each year, our team leads an active local industry on-site visit program to more than 100 Greater Waco area employers. Our business retention and expansion manager works with a team of Chamber volunteers, staff, and elected local officials to meet with business managers, tour facilities, and assist with any issues to ensure the health of the local tax base and employment.
